Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP (July 2009 – Present). Manages all aspects of pesticide related projects to register technical and end-use products for US and international clients.   Conducts data assessments to determine the nature and value of studies submitted by pesticide registrants. Manages the placement, conduct and submission to EPA of studies needed to secure US registrations for these products.

Keller and Heckman LLP (June 2006 – June 2009). Responsible for managing the regulatory and technical aspects of pesticide related projects for the purpose of state and federal registration, legal support, product development and enforcement issues. Designs, plans, reviews, and monitors product chemistry, residue chemistry, and environmental fate studies, as well as environmental and human exposure and risk assessments. Supports US and international clients for conventional pesticides, biopesticides, biocides and biotechnology products.
Senior Consultant
ChemReg International, LLC (April 2000 – June 2006). Responsible for managing the regulatory and technical aspects of pesticide chemistry projects for the purpose of state and federal registration, legal support, product development and enforcement issues. Designs, plans, reviews, and monitors product chemistry, residue chemistry, and environmental fate studies, as well as environmental and human exposure and risk assessments. Supports US and international clients for conventional pesticides, biopesticides, and biotechnology products.
Senior Chemist
Jellinek, Schwartz & Connolly, Inc. (April 1990 – March 2000). Responsible for managing the technical aspects of environmental fate and residue chemistry studies for state and federal pesticide registration, reregistration, Special Reviews, and other pesticide regulatory matters. Designs, plans, reviews, and monitors animal and plant metabolism studies, crop residue studies, soil dissipation studies, animal feeding studies, and other physical/chemical transformation studies. Performs statistical analysis on data from these studies. Conducts environmental modeling on the fate of chemicals in the environment for the purpose of predicting environmental concentrations. Conducts aquatic and drinking water risk assessments. Manages junior staff in reviewing and monitoring these studies.
Principal Scientist, Environmental Chemistry
Sandoz Crop Protection Corporation, Des Plaines, Illinois (March 1986 - April 1990). Supervised the environmental chemistry group that designed, conducted, and reported environmental fate and plant metabolism studies required for state and federal pesticide registration. Conducted environmental fate modeling studies to predict residues in soil, ground and surface waters, air, and animal and plant tissues (crop residues). Also designed, planned, and supervised field residue studies. Specialized in vitro studies, such as plant tissue culture studies were also conducted.

Velsicol Chemical Corporation, Chicago, Illinois (August 1981 - February 1986). Supervised technical aspects of the environmental chemistry group that designed, planned, and conducted environmental fate and plant metabolism studies as well as studies on the effects of pesticides and industrial chemicals on microbes and higher plants.
