Practice Description

Mr. Greenblum primarily concentrates his practice on advising both publicly traded and privately held companies and capital market participants involved in complex commercial and business disputes, including claims arising under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, internal investigations and regulatory investigatory and enforcement actions. Having counseled companies involved in varying industries, he has developed a broad-based litigation background and regularly appears in cases located in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Mr. Greenblum also regularly partners with the firm’s Corporate Department to assist with the representation of clients involved in significant transactions, and for certain clients, he acts as outside General Counsel coordinating both corporate and litigation initiatives on a nation-wide basis.

In the financial services industry, Mr. Greenblum has represented institutional lenders, retail brokers, hedge funds, private equity funds and other alternative investment funds and issuers of financial products in various complex breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty matters, as well as FINRA arbitrations. He has also counseled ad hoc bondholder committees and advises stakeholders with respect to litigation arising out of merger and acquisition (“M&A”) transactions including tortious interference claims.

Additionally, Mr. Greenblum has experience representing Professional Employer Organizations (“PEO”) in a variety of matters, including M&A, significant employment and labor matters, licensing and restrictive covenant and class action litigation.

Mr. Greenblum has also represented owners, developers and construction firms in a wide variety of matters concerning major construction and development projects, including disputes and challenges arising from the bidding process.
