Mr. Plotnick is a business litigator with extensive experience representing clients in matters involving complex capital markets transactions and financial instruments. In recent years, he has been at the forefront of advising domestic and international investors and financial institutions in litigation and related matters arising out of transactions closely associated with the deterioration of the financial markets, including structured financial products such as CDOs, RMBS, and derivatives. Mr. Plotnick routinely represents securities industry firms and investment professionals in connection with a wide variety of civil litigation matters and regulatory inquiries, and also is experienced in corporate and shareholder disputes, class action and derivative litigation, director and officer liability, real estate litigation, and employment and compensation disputes.
