Corporate and International Business partner Rafael Grunfeld's article "Rights offerings: Exemption situation" appeared in the July 23, 2009 issue of Legal Week. The article discusses what exemptions are available to U.S. shareholders wanting to participate in unlisted U.K. companies' rights offerings. Mr. Grunfeld notes in his article that there are two types of exemptions: a public offering exemption and a private placement exemption.
