CL&M Mourns Passing of Associate Pamela S. Shelinsky
Our associate Pamela S. Shelinsky died on Monday, September 26 at age 31, after a brief struggle with cancer. Pamela was a talented lawyer who focused on intellectual property, condemnation and real estate litigation. Recently, she helped act as special condemnation counsel to the City of New York in connection with claims for additional compensation filed by the former owners of 10 properties acquired by the City through eminent domain for the No. 7 Subway Line Extension – Hudson Yards Project in Manhattan. For a number of years, Pamela has assisted in representing Playtex Products, LLC and Avalon Waterways Inc. in trademark disputes. Pamela received a B.A. magna cum laude in 2002 from Northwestern University and a J.D. in 2005 from Cornell Law School.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and colleagues at Carter Ledyard.
