Firm Client GESeaCo Acquired by HNA Group Company and Bravia Capital

GESeaCo, the world’s fifth largest marine container leasing company, was acquired by HNA Group Company Limited of China, a leading diversified services and integrated operations company, and Bravia Capital of Hong Kong. GE SeaCo has been rebranded as “Seaco” and will own and manage over 870,000 20-foot equivalent units of containers. The total enterprise value of the transaction is approximately US$2.5 billion. James Gadsden, Justine M. Clark and Alison Powers Herman led the lawyers at the firm who represented GE SeaCo in connection with the financing for the transaction. David I. Karabell, Peter Flägel, Brooks S. Clark, Aaron R.
