Carter Ledyard corporate counsel Faith Colish will receive the Fund Directions Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual awards ceremony on April 26, 2016. Ms. Colish previously was named Independent Director of the Year in 2001, for her leadership in restructuring the boards of the Neuberger Berman funds, and again in 2008 for leadership in the negotiation of the change of control of the funds’ investment adviser following the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers Inc. (Neuberger Berman also won the 2008 Deal of the Year award for its transition from ownership by Lehman to ownership by employees of the investment adviser.) Ms Colish will also be named to the Fund Directions Hall of Fame, along with James Bodurtha, Independent Director of BlackRock; Jack Bogle, former CEO and founder of Vanguard Group; William Givens, Independent Chair of The Japan Fund; and Jim Hawkes, former CEO and Chairman of Eaton Vance.
