24th Mutual Fund Industry Awards - Mary Joan Hoene Nominated for Small Board Trustee of the Year
Carter Ledyard congratulates counsel Mary Joan Hoene for her nomination in the “Small Board Trustee” category of the 24th Mutual Fund Industry Awards. The Awards nominations are made by the editorial staff of Fund Action and Fund Direction. This year’s dinner will benefit the High Water Women Backpack Drive. Ms. Hoene is an Independent Director of ASA Gold and Precious Metals Limited Inc., a closed end fund listed on the NYSE. In her role as counsel at Carter Ledyard, Ms. Hoene advises investment companies, mutual fund boards, investment advisers and fund service providers, often on special projects requiring an independent perspective. She is an acknowledged expert on investment management matters resulting from her long association with the mutual fund industry in various roles, including the Securities Exchange Commission’s Division of Investment Management and several financial institutions. Carter Ledyard is proud of the recognition accorded Ms. Hoene with this nomination.
