Carter Ledyard partner Steven Paul McSloy, chair of the Firm’s Native American practice group and a professor of Native American law, again taught pro bono at the California Tribal College on Monday, July 30th and Tuesday, July 31st for the College’s semi-annual Leadership & Governance Certificate Program, designed for current and aspiring tribal leaders. The program took place at the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation in Brooks, California and was oversubscribed. Mr. McSloy spoke on Federal Indian Law and History and on Sovereign Immunity.
