Christopher Rizzo – Parks and Recreation

Christopher Rizzo has joined the Board of Directors of New Yorkers for Parks. He previously served as a member of the organization's Directors’ Council. New Yorkers for Parks was formed in 1908 as the “Parks Council” and is New York City’s nonprofit advocate for maintenance and protection of public parkland and open space throughout the five boroughs. Recent initiatives include the annual “Report Card on Parks” a joint study of the relationship between availability of open space and health with Mount Sinai Hospital and advocacy for preservation of the 120-acre “Pouch” Boy Scout Camp on Staten Island.
