Jeffrey Boxer Quoted by Law360 Regarding Corporate Raiding

Litigation partner Jeffrey S. Boxer was quoted in the January 11 Law360 article “NY Noncompete Ruling Shows Suing 1st Isn't Enough,” focusing on a New York appellate court refusing to dismiss Aon Corp.’s employee raiding suit in New York against former employees who were based in California and subject to agreements providing for the application of Illinois law.  Dueling litigation were filed in California and New York.  “Keeping Aon's lawsuit physically in New York is just one upshot of the decision,” said Boxer.  “The ruling also keeps intact Aon's desire to use Illinois law, which is friendlier to noncompete agreements than California's, as controlling law in the New York case,” he said.
