My primary focus is helping my clients and making their jobs easier. I’m easy to reach, respond to clients’ inquiries immediately, and always try to communicate with them by their preferred method. Sometimes they require a long memo, sometimes just a short email, and other times a spreadsheet works best. They seem to enjoy talking through issues with me and appreciate my clear explanations of complex issues.
In her general corporate practice, Ann Pace represents hedge funds, investment banks, trading desks, and special purpose vehicles in the purchase and sale of distressed bank loans and other financial claims. With a full understanding of the many factors in the calculus of financial matters, she negotiates and documents transactions involving the transfer of loans, securities, and trade claims in the U.S. and European markets.
Ann advises public companies, including exchange-traded funds, in a range of securities matters and counsels both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, and other corporate matters. She also advises corporate trustees for corporate and municipal debt in connection with the issuance of the debt.
Constantly tracking the ever-evolving regulatory environment governing securities and other finance-related issues, Ann keeps her clients updated on changes and helps them stay in compliance with rules and laws pertaining to their businesses and transactions. Although her practice is primarily New York-based, Ann helps clients that are based in many geographic regions.
Because of unfortunate economic trends produced by the COVID-19 epidemic and other factors, Ann anticipates that she will be doing a great deal of work in the bankruptcy and distressed companies arena in the foreseeable future. She will draw on her organizational skills and ability to craft effective and often creative strategies to help meet those increased client needs.
