CARTER LEDYARD & MILBURN LLP ASSISTS SPECTEL IN SALE TO AVAYA
NEW YORK, August 3, 2004 – Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP announced that it had represented Spectel, a leading provider of audio conferencing solution, in connection with its sale to Avaya Inc., (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services, for approximately $103 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close within 60 days and is subject to regulatory approval, Irish laws and customary closing conditions.
