CARTER, LEDYARD & MILBURN ASSISTS DAKOCYTOMATION IN ACQUISITION OF LEADING CANCER DIAGNOSTIC INSTRUMENT FROM CYTOLOGIX
NEW YORK, September 5, 2002 - Wall Street law firm Carter, Ledyard & Milburn announced today that it represented DakoCytomation A/S in its acquisition of the Artisan® instrument business from CytoLogix Inc. CytoLogix' Artisan® is a state of the art tissue staining instrument used in pathology labs for cancer diagnosis. According to terms of the agreement, DakoCytomation will assume all rights to the product as well as responsibility for continued technical support and customer service.
DakoCytomation A/S is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has significant R&D and manufacturing activities in the USA and in England. It is a leading in vitro diagnostic company specializing in the identification of cancer markers on samples obtained from tissue and body fluids.
