Carter Ledyard Partner Alison Powers Herman has been recognized by Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City (BBBSNYC) as part of the organization’s Women’s History Month “HerStory” Trustee Spotlight series.
Alison serves as a Trustee and Associate General Counsel for BBBSNYC, where she contributes her expertise and leadership to the organization’s mission of building and supporting mentoring relationships to empower New York City youth.
In celebration of Women’s History Month BBBSNYC featured Alison, recognizing her commitment to the organization and the important role board members play in guiding their work. In the feature, Alison shared reflections on leadership and mentorship, noting the importance of bringing female perspectives and voices to guiding the organization’s mission and modeling strong female leadership for future generations.
