Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP is pleased to announce that Steven Paul McSloy, Chair of the firm’s Native American Law Practice, served as co-counsel in connection with a transaction recognized as the 2025 Business Impact Deal of the Year by the Native American Finance Officers Association (“NAFOA”).
Mr. McSloy represented the Ione Band of Miwok Indians, serving as co-counsel alongside Drummond Woodsum, in connection with securing $110 million in financing for the development of the Acorn Ridge Casino, a landmark achievement more than two decades in the making.
