Our client Warren Adler, 91, died on April 15 from liver cancer. Mr. Adler was a novelist, playwright, and poet who wrote over 50 novels, plays, poetry, and works of fiction during his writing career. He was best-known for his 1981 best-seller The War of the Roses, which was adapted into a Golden Globe-nominated film starring Kathleen Turner, Michael Douglas, and Danny DeVito. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Mr. Adler had a successful career as the owner of a public relations and advertising agency in Washington, D.C.
