The five-day intensive certificate program, hosted by Osgoode Hall Law School in conjunction with York University, provided comprehensive, in-depth examination of Cannabis Law and Regulation in Canada (the first G7 country to legalize the purchase and use of recreational cannabis), and globally, from leading experts in the field, and critical information and key strategies to advise on cannabis-related matters. The program featured Alex Malyshev, co-chair of Carter Ledyard’s Cannabis, Hemp & CBD Industry Group, who co-presented “Hemp 101: Cannabis Act and Regulations,” which focused on U.S. regulation of Hemp and CBD.
