The five-day intensive certificate program, hosted by Osgoode Hall Law School in conjunction with York University, will provide a comprehensive, in-depth examination of Cannabis Law and Regulation in Canada (the first G7 country to legalize the purchase and use of recreational cannabis), and globally, from leading experts in the field, and provide critical information and key strategies to advise on cannabis-related matters. The program and certificate are worthwhile for lawyers in private practice, in-house counsel in the cannabis industry, cannabis industry senior executives, and regulators of the production, sale or distribution of cannabis.
The program begins on January 13th, and will feature Alex Malyshev, co-chair of Carter Ledyard’s Cannabis, Hemp & CBD Industry Group, who will co-present “Hemp 101: Cannabis Act and Regulations,” focusing on U.S. regulation of Hemp and CBD.
