The conference, which was sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association and this year held virtually, had a “Hot Topics” panel on Gaming Law. Steve, a partner in Carter Ledyard’s Corporate Department and Chair of our Native American Practice Group, was a featured speaker, providing his knowledge and experience in Native American Law and corporate transactions involving casinos. Steve introduced the basics of gaming law, addressed tribal gaming regulation and issues of state versus tribal jurisdiction, and spoke on gaming regulation in New York.
