NYC Parks: Christopher Rizzo served on the February 7, 2024 panel discussion of the Center for and Urban Future, City Parks Foundation and NYC Green Fund regarding the Center’s new report “Paying for Parks: Generating New Revenues to Support NYC’s Parks and Open Space.” The discussion focused on the Report and its twenty ideas for creating alternative revenue streams for parks and public open space outside the NYC budget process. Panelists included Deputy Mayor Meera Joshi, Center director Jonathan Bowels, Adam Ganser of New Yorkers for Parks, Heather Lubov of the City Parks Foundation, Morgan Monaco of the Prospect Park Alliance, Julie Tighe of the NY League of Conservation Voters, NYC Parks Commissioner Susan Donoghue and Councilman Shekar Krishnan.
