Litigation counsel Donald J. Kennedy was quoted in the article “The Adriatic Collapse: Have We Learned the Lessons?” published in the September 21, 2015 issue of Tradewinds. The article focuses on the demise of the Adriatic Tankers and Adriatic owner Panagis Zissimatos’ quest to have bondholders held responsible for the ruin. Regarding New York State’s highest court turning down Zissimatos’ request to appeal against lower court verdicts against him, Don Kennedy said, “That’s it for him, basically he’s a dead duck.” Don Kennedy represented United States Trust Corp, the trustee for the noteholders.
