Jack Griem, chair of Carter Ledyard’s Intellectual Property department, will be a panelist at the Horizons: Perspectives on Psychedelics conference, the longest-running and largest annual psychedelic community event in the world. The conference is hosted this year at the New York Academy of Medicine and the Great Hall at The Cooper Union on October 12-16, 2022.
Jack will present on October 12 at the New York Academy of Medicine on the panel “Patents, commons, innovation, and competition,” and address the work of client Freedom to Operate, Inc. and how intellectual property ownership can be used both to stimulate and impede innovation in the field of psychedelic medicine. Jack will be joined on the panel by Carey Turnbull, the founder of Freedom to Operate.
