Partner and Chair of the Firm’s Intellectual Property practice, Jack Griem will be featured as a panelist at the NAM Legal Summit. This session titled, “Generative AI – Intellectual Property Challenges, Disputes, and Legal Implications” will examine emerging questions around copyright and training data, ownership of AI-generated content, licensing and compliance, recent legal developments, and what these changes mean for businesses operating across jurisdictions.
The summit, taking place November 12-13, brings together in-house counsel from U.S.-based manufacturing companies to explore the legal and business issues affecting the industry. The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) partners strategically with Meritas Worldwide, of which Carter Ledyard is a member. Jack will co-present with fellow Meritas lawyer, Juan Sebastián González Restrepo of Posse Herrera Ruiz in Bogotá.
