On September 8th, Partner John M. Griem, Jr., who Co-Chairs Carter Ledyard’s intellectual property practice and leads the firm’s cybersecurity and data privacy group, presented “Commerce in the Internet Age: How One Company Website Can Present So Many Legal Issues,” at the invitation of ACC Online Education and sponsored by the Meritas legal network. John’s presentation discussed the variety of legal issues that are presented by eCommerce, including patent, copyright, trademark, accessibility, data privacy, and website terms of use, among others.
