Carter Ledyard Managing Partner Judith A. Lockhart was honored with the John Grahovac Award by the Meritas network of law firms at the network’s annual meeting in Denver last week. The Grahovac Award is presented each year to a Meritas lawyer who has exhibited an exceptional level of commitment and service to Meritas. Judy served as Chair of Meritas from 2011 through 2013. In addition, she has helped guide many of Meritas’ initiatives relating to its long-term leadership and direction as a member of the Capability Search Advisory Group (2013), the Ad Hoc Governance Committee (2012-2013), the Governance Task Force (2011), and the Corporate Business Development Committee (2005-2006). In addition, she was Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee from 2008-2009 and Co-Chair of the Committee from 2013-2015. Meritas has 176 member law firms, which practice in over 76 countries with over 7,000 attorneys.
