Mann was quoted in the September 29 The Washington Post article “Trump Foundation Lacks the Certification Required for Charities That Solicit Money.” Addressing the issue of the Trump Foundation soliciting funds from the public without being registered to do so, Pamela A. Mann, a former head of the New York State Charities Bureau, said “The law says that soliciting from the public in New York, without being registered to do so, is an illegal act.”
