On March 16, 2022, Pamela Mann, Chair of Carter Ledyard’s Tax Exempt Organizations Practice, will chair “Advising Nonprofit Organizations 2022,” a program hosted by Practising Law Institute. The program will address nonprofit formation and start-up issues, federal and state regulatory issues, state compliance rules around fundraising and investments, federal tax rules, considerations, and strategies for organizations seeking to merge and dissolve.
Pamela will speak about nonprofit formation and start-up issues. Jeremy Steckel, counsel in Carter Ledyard’s TEO Practice, will speak about merger and dissolution of nonprofit organizations.
