On November 18th, 2019, Steve McSloy, partner in the Corporate Department and Chair of Carter Ledyard’s Native American Practice Group, was invited to make a presentation at John Jay College of Criminal Justice to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. Steve’s presentation discussed the impact of the criminal justice system on Native American peoples and nations, and reviewed the major Supreme Court cases in the area for a gathering of pre-law and criminal justice students.
