Advising clients on estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts, Caroline Fischer focuses her practice on wealth transfer, tax, and charitable giving. She has a wide range of experience including drafting wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, charitable remainder unitrusts, and fiduciary litigation. She also assists with the administration of Unit Investment Trusts. Caroline, who recently completed her LLM in Taxation, is committed to monitoring the ever-evolving tax and regulatory landscape to protect her clients’ interests and to ensure that the transfer of wealth is aligned with their estate planning needs and goals.
Serving clients in the U.S. and internationally, Caroline finds it gratifying to work with families across multiple generations. Prior to law school, Caroline gained experience working in an international law firm on complex patent infringement litigation, government investigation, and business litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Caroline was an associate at a firm in Dallas, Texas, where she focused on estate planning, probate, will contests, and fiduciary litigation, and regularly represented an international charitable organization in a wide variety of litigation matters affecting operations within its Southern Territory.
