Nikolaos is an associate in the firm’s corporate department. He represents financial institutions and corporate issuers in a broad range of capital markets transactions. He also has experience advising public companies on their public disclosures, securities law compliance and corporate governance matters.

Nikolaos also has experience in financial restructuring & insolvency, he has represented debtors, creditors, financial institutions, ad hoc creditor groups, cross border entities and other parties in interest in large and complex Chapter 11 bankruptcies and other distressed situations.

  • Underwriters in connection with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce’s USD500mn inaugural limited recourse capital notes offering.
  • Underwriters in connection with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce's SEC-registered USD2.25bn notes offering.
  • Underwriters in connection with CSX Corporation’s USD550mn notes offering.
  • The dealer managers in connection with Teck Resources Limited’s USD1.384bn abbreviated cash tender offer.
  • An ad hoc group of lenders in connection with an enforcement action against Byju’s Alpha after a default on a USD1.2bn term loan.
  • Vice Group Holding Inc. and its debtor affiliates as counsel in their chapter 11 cases involving approximately USD834mn in funded debt obligations.
  • A significant institutional equity holder in the chapter 11 cases of FTX, the largest and most high-profile crypto bankruptcy to date.
  • A creditor in the chapter 11 cases of Talen Energy Corporation, LLC.
  • A creditor in the chapter 11 cases of Venator Materials PLC.
