Yvonne Diabene is an associate in Carter Ledyard’s Tax-Exempt Organizations practice. Her experience centers on thoughtful advocacy, practical strategy, and efficient problem-solving. Drawing on experience across the judicial, nonprofit, private, and government sectors, she approaches complex legal and organizational matters with careful analysis and a focus on effective outcomes.
Before joining Carter Ledyard, Yvonne served as a law clerk to the Honorable Theodore A. McKee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She previously worked in the Office of General Counsel at the Vera Institute of Justice. Her experience also includes work with the ACLU, the New York Legal Assistance Group, as well as public-sector strategy and analysis at Deloitte Consulting.
Yvonne earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Public Policy from Brown University and is admitted to practice in New York.
