Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP is pleased to announce that Valentino Vasi has returned to the firm as counsel in its Corporate Department effective July 7, 2016. He focuses on compliance, regulatory, and legal issues for financial services firms, including broker-dealers and investment advisers. His work includes drafting, negotiating and interpreting contracts; counseling clients on relevant laws and rules; representing clients with regulatory agencies; and developing compliance programs for broker-dealers, investment advisers, mutual funds and hedge funds. Mr. Vasi has more than 20 years of experience practicing corporate and securities law. He was a Senior Associate Attorney in Carter Ledyard’s Corporate Department from 2002 to 2005, working on a wide range of financial services regulatory matters. Most recently Mr. Vasi was the Chief Compliance Officer and In-House Counsel at Telsey Advisory Group LLC where he was responsible for all legal, regulatory and compliance matters for a full-service broker-dealer and its related SEC-registered investment adviser and hedge fund.
