NEW YORK, NY (September 25, 2015) – Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP (www.clm.com) is pleased to announce that Jeffrey S. Boxer and Gary D. Sesser will act as co-chairs of its Litigation Department effective September 17, 2015.
Jeffrey S. Boxer’s practice focuses on general commercial, trade secret, restrictive covenant and employment litigation and arbitration. He advises clients on developing state-of-the-art confidentiality, trade secret, non-disclosure and restrictive covenant contracts, consults with clients considering hiring competitors’ employees, and counsels clients on breach of contract and duty issues. Jeff’s practice also includes complex commercial and business disputes and securities litigation, and he represents clients in state and federal courts and in arbitrations before FINRA, AAA, ICC, CPR and other arbitration bodies. He received his B.A. from Lafayette College and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
Gary D. Sesser is also a commercial litigator, with more than three decades of experience litigating cases ranging from art law to antitrust, from maritime law to trusts & estates. He has won notable victories in both state and federal appeals courts involving ownership of art, bankruptcy, and securities law issues. Gary regularly advises clients on corporate compliance issues, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and successfully assisted a shipping client in obtaining complete immunity from criminal prosecution for antitrust violations under the Justice Department’s Corporate Amnesty Program. He received his B.A. from Cornell and his J.D. from The University of Michigan.
