What I enjoy most about the practice of Trusts & Estates is engaging with clients of different ages, backgrounds and circumstances. The convergence of legal problem solving and sophisticated advising to clients dealing with specific and complex personal and financial situations ensures my careful attention to their matters and aspirations.
Arielle Kraus assists clients with estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts. Personable and detail oriented, she has experience guiding clients both domestically and in complex cross-border transactions, in drafting wills, revocable trusts, and other estate planning and Surrogate’s Court documents. Arielle develops strong personal and professional relationships with her clients, who often span generations, and places a particular emphasis on communication. By monitoring the constantly changing laws, tax codes, and estate planning requirements, Arielle represents her clients thoroughly and thoughtfully. She also assists with the administration of Unit Investment Trusts.
Prior to joining Carter Ledyard, Arielle worked in boutique litigation and Trusts & Estates law firms in New York City. She received her L.L.M. in taxation from New York University which provides her a keen understanding of the many tax and regulatory issues that arise when developing and managing estate plans. She is admitted to practice in both New York and Florida.
