Darius Alam is a corporate and transactional lawyer with significant experience advising on cross-border matters, with a focus on capital markets, venture capital, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
As a member of Carter Ledyard’s Turkey cross-border practice group, he advises investors, financial institutions, and public and private companies on complex international transactions involving Turkey and other global markets.
Darius has represented sellers, buyers, issuers, investors, and investee companies in high-value transactions ranging from multi-million to multi-billion-dollar deals. His practice spans a wide range of industries, including technology, life sciences, digital assets, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, and energy. He regularly counsels clients on structuring, negotiating, and executing sophisticated cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining Carter Ledyard, Darius practiced at leading international law firms in New York City and Turkey.
