Dylan Ruffi is Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, and regulatory enforcement, with an emphasis on delivering practical, strategic solutions in high-stakes disputes. He represents companies, organizations, and individuals in state and federal courts and before regulatory agencies across a range of industries, including cryptocurrency, private equity, technology, healthcare, consumer products, and nonprofits.
Prior to joining Carter Ledyard, Dylan served as Enforcement Counsel at FINRA, where he led investigations and enforcement actions involving financial institutions and their employees. He previously practiced as Counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Dylan clerked for the Honorable I. Leo Glasser of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Peter J. Messitte of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from New York University.
