Louie is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department. He focuses his practice on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and corporate governance. His experience includes assisting public and private companies in their domestic and cross border acquisitions, private equity transactions, structured finance transactions, securities offerings, and other general corporate matters.
His experience working on complex cross-border deals—including transactions involving the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, and Norway—has equipped him with the ability to navigate diverse legal systems, coordinate with international counsel, and deliver practical solutions tailored to the needs of global clients.
Louie is also a founding member of the firm’s Middle East and North Africa Cross Border Practice. Prior to law school, Louie gained experience in the Middle East working at two Am Law 100 Law Firms on cross border financial and commercial projects. Drawing on his deep understanding of both U.S. corporate law and Middle Eastern business culture, Louie works closely with clients from the region to structure their U.S. operations effectively, helping them overcome regulatory hurdles and achieve their strategic business goals.
