Melinda is an associate in the firm’s Litigation & Disputes department. She is a fierce and candid advocate who advises clients on complex state and federal employment risks, investigations, compliance matters, and disputes.
Melinda provides clients with guidance on risk and compliance with state and federal employment laws. These include Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), the New York State Human Rights Law (“NYSHRL”), and the New York City Human Rights Law (“NYCHRL”). She assists clients in conducting investigations, analyzing risk exposure, responding to the administrative complaint process, and preparing for mediation, litigation, and arbitration.
Melinda graduated with honors from Georgetown University Law Center. While pursuing her J.D., Melinda served on the Executive Board of the Barristers’ Council Appellate Advocacy Team, and as a Notes Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University.
