This week, a group of 8th grade students from Eastern Middle School in Silver Spring, Maryland visited the offices of Carter Ledyard to interview Steve McSloy, Chair of Carter Ledyard’s Native American Law practice. Filming for an upcoming documentary project to be aired at the American Film Institute, the students asked Steve about his involvement and work in American Indian Law and financial transactions in Indian country, and the ongoing conflicts between industrialization and Native Americans.
