The ABA’s FINRA Corporate Financing Rules Subcommittee acts as a liaison between the Financial Industry Regulatory Association (FINRA) and attorneys who practice before FINRA. The Subcommittee also comments on FINRA rulemaking, and advises members of the Federal Regulation of Securities Committee on recent developments in FINRA rulemaking. Val also joined the ABA Task Force that focuses on offering and trading tokenized securities. He is responsible for the subgroup of the Task Force that is considering additional cybersecurity safeguards for digital assets.
