Carter Ledyard kicked off the new year with the onboarding of corporate practitioner, Darius Alam, as Counsel. He joins the active Corporate, Securities, Mergers & Acquisitions, Turkey Cross-Border and Middle East, North Africa (MENA) groups. With a growing international practice, Carter Ledyard looks to Darius to support the firm’s corporate and capital markets practices, including John Driscoll’s growing Turkish Cross-Border practice. Darius has extensive experience in corporate and transactional matters, including capital markets and securities transactions on behalf of domestic and cross-border clients. Darius is recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” in “Banking, Finance and Capital Markets,” and “Corporate, Commercial and M&A” by Legal 500 (EMEA).

Darius will be resident in the Firm’s New York downtown office and will travel to Turkey often.
