Working closely with Immigration Equality, Carter Ledyard represents pro bono clients in connection with their LGBTQ asylum applications, which require establishing a risk of government persecution in an individual’s home country. Carter Ledyard has recently assisted four clients successfully obtain final approval of asylum. The clients were represented by CLM attorneys Guy Ben-Ami, Michael Bauscher, Justin Peters, Rocco Sainato, Edgar Mendoza, and Madelyn White, with significant assistance from legal assistant Bill Borenstein.
