Boxer and Jonathan Trafimow examine the Federal Trade Commission’s enforcement of the nationwide noncompete ban that was expected to take effect in September of 2024. Losses in litigations and a change in the presidential administration have led the FTC to abandon its fight to salvage the noncompete ban and to instead refocus on challenging individual employer noncompete agreements.
